My Story

I’m Vini (they/them), a Seattle-based jewelry maker who focuses on self-expression, body confidence, and inclusive design. I want my pieces to help people feel strong, seen, and at home in their bodies, whether they are going out or staying in.

I started this business after COVID left me permanently disabled. This gave me a way to keep going during a difficult time, and it grew into a business that helps support my medical costs and my future. I feel so lucky to have made it this far and truly appreciate your support.

Before I got sick, I was an aerialist, and movement was a huge part of how I understood myself and moved through the world. I was also in graduate school and was building a life that I loved. Getting sick changed all of that very quickly. I had to leave school, and I had to figure out who I was in a body that no longer felt like my own.

Crafting started as a way to keep myself sane. I needed something to do with my hands that let me feel capable on days when walking was a struggle. What began as a hobby slowly became much more than that. It became a creative outlet, then a source of purpose, and eventually a business. This work has helped me through some of the hardest years of my life. It has helped me cover medical costs, build something meaningful, and create a future that, for years, felt out of reach.

That is a big part of why this business means so much to me. I know what it is like to feel disconnected from your body, from your confidence, and from who you thought you were supposed to be. I want the pieces I make to offer a little bit of that back: a sense of self-expression, strength, and recognition. I care deeply about creating things that feel good on every body and help people feel more like themselves, not less.

Thank you for being here. Supporting this business does more than support handmade jewelry. It supports my medical care, my return to academia, and the life I have been rebuilding piece by piece.
